Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ACYW135 Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (CRM197) is an investigational quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine being developed by Liaoning Chengda Biotechnology and affiliated Chengda entities for prevention of meningococcal disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, Y, and W135. It uses CRM197, a non-toxic diphtheria toxin variant, as a carrier protein for meningococcal capsular polysaccharide antigens, with the intended effect of inducing serogroup-specific bactericidal antibody responses and immunologic memory. In the Chengda-sponsored CTR20252317 study, the vaccine is being evaluated for safety and immunogenicity in healthy participants aged 3 months and older.
