Overview

This represents a combination of two separate TNF-alpha inhibitors. Adalimumab (Humira) and golimumab (Simponi) are both fully human monoclonal antibodies that target and inhibit tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in various inflammatory conditions. Both medications are used to treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis. They work by binding to TNF-alpha and preventing it from interacting with cell surface receptors, thereby reducing inflammation.
