Overview

Adalimumab-680LT + risankizumab-800CW is a combination of two near-infrared fluorescently labeled monoclonal antibodies developed by the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) for use in dual-wavelength fluorescence molecular imaging (FMI). Adalimumab-680LT is a human monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) labeled with IRDye 680LT, while risankizumab-800CW is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23) labeled with IRDye 800CW. This diagnostic combination is designed to visualize and quantify drug distribution and target engagement in the mucosal tissue of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). By assessing target saturation and molecular phenotypes in vivo, this approach aims to predict therapeutic response and optimize personalized treatment strategies for patients undergoing anti-TNF or anti-IL-23 therapy.
