Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ADC 3 is a preclinical antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Hexagon Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. The candidate utilizes a novel Protein Translation Inhibitor (PTI) payload, a class of small molecules identified through Hexagon's proprietary genomics-based platform that mines microbial genomes for secondary metabolites with potent biological activity. While the specific cell-surface target of the antibody component remains undisclosed, the therapeutic strategy involves the targeted delivery of the PTI payload directly to malignant cells to disrupt essential protein synthesis and induce apoptosis. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
