Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adebrelimab (SHR-1316) is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). It is designed to block the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD-1, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. Adebrelimab has been investigated in combination with chemotherapy agents such as carboplatin and etoposide, along with sequential chest radiotherapy, primarily for the treatment of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Clinical studies have shown that this combination demonstrates promising efficacy and an acceptable safety profile as a first-line therapy for ES-SCLC. The drug is developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine.
