Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adebrelimab + decitabine is a combination therapy consisting of adebrelimab, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting PD-L1, and decitabine, a hypomethylating agent that inhibits DNA methyltransferases. Adebrelimab is an IgG4 antibody with modified Fc and Fab segments, designed to focus on blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway with reduced immune cell-related side effects. It has a stronger affinity to PD-L1 compared to other PD-L1 inhibitors. Decitabine works by incorporating into DNA during replication and irreversibly binding to DNA methyltransferases, preventing DNA methylation and potentially reactivating silenced tumor suppressor genes. This combination is being investigated for cancer treatment, particularly in combination with other agents like albumin-bound paclitaxel and gemcitabine.
