Overview

Adebry + VEX is a combination therapeutic regimen consisting of the PD-L1 monoclonal antibody adebrelimab (Adebry) and the metronomic chemotherapy combination VEX (vinorelbine, cyclophosphamide, and capecitabine). Adebrelimab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), preventing its interaction with PD-1 and B7.1 receptors to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. The VEX regimen utilizes low-dose, frequent administration (metronomic) of vinorelbine (a vinca alkaloid), cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), and capecitabine (a fluoropyrimidine prodrug) to exert anti-angiogenic and immunomodulatory effects while minimizing toxicity. This combination is primarily investigated for advanced breast cancer, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and HER2-negative breast cancer with brain metastases.
