Adenosine triphosphate + fluoxetine is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). In this regimen, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is administered intravenously as a fast-acting antidepressant, while fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), is given orally.
