A combination immunotherapy approach consisting of autologous dendritic cells (DCs) that have been genetically modified using adenoviral vectors to express tumor-associated antigens (such as MART-1, p53, MUC1, or Survivin), combined with cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells. The DC vaccine component presents tumor antigens to activate specific T cell responses, while CIK cells provide direct tumor-killing activity through both MHC-restricted and non-MHC-restricted mechanisms. This dual approach aims to enhance overall anti-tumor efficacy compared to either component alone.
