Z-Cell is a culture-expanded adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (Ad-MSC) therapy developed by Incell Technologies for use in regenerative medicine. These cells are isolated from human adipose tissue and expanded in vitro to therapeutic quantities. Ad-MSCs are characterized by their ability to home to sites of injury and inflammation, where they exert therapeutic effects through the secretion of a diverse secretome, including anti-inflammatory cytokines, pro-angiogenic growth factors, and extracellular vesicles. This paracrine activity modulates the local immune environment, reduces oxidative stress, and stimulates endogenous repair mechanisms. Clinical investigations have explored its utility in treating conditions such as knee osteoarthritis, erectile dysfunction, and critical limb ischemia.
