Overview

This is a combination cell therapy product consisting of two distinct populations of autologous or allogeneic human stem/progenitor cells: - **Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSCs):** Multipotent stromal/stem cells isolated from adipose (fat) tissue. These can differentiate into various cell types including osteoblasts, chondrocytes, and adipocytes. They are known for their regenerative properties, immunomodulatory effects, and ability to promote angiogenesis and tissue repair through paracrine signaling[4][5][9]. - **Bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNCs):** A heterogeneous population of nucleated bone marrow-derived progenitor and immune cells that includes hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells, endothelial progenitors, lymphocytes, and monocytes. BMMNCs have been used in regenerative medicine for their potential to enhance vascularization and support tissue healing[1][2]. The combination is under investigation primarily for the treatment of bone defects or injuries where both osteogenic differentiation (from AD-MSCs) and pro-regenerative/angiogenic support (from BMMNCs) may be beneficial. The mechanism involves direct differentiation into target tissues as well as modulation of the local microenvironment via cytokine secretion.
