AGS-003 + sunitinib is a combination therapy consisting of **AGS-003**, an autologous dendritic cell-based immunotherapy, and **sunitinib**, a small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor. AGS-003 is produced using a patient’s monocyte-derived dendritic cells co-electroporated with amplified tumor RNA and synthetic CD40L RNA, aiming to generate and activate cytotoxic T cells targeting patient-specific tumor antigens. Sunitinib inhibits multiple receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor proliferation and angiogenesis. The combination was investigated for the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC), with AGS-003 designed to stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, and sunitinib providing direct anti-tumor and anti-angiogenic activity. Clinical studies report that this regimen is generally well-tolerated, shows supportive immunologic responses, and extends survival in intermediate- and poor-risk mRCC patients[1][3][6][8].
