Overview
ADI + BJOE is a combination therapy used in Chinese oncology, consisting of Aidi injection (ADI) and Brucea javanica oil emulsion (BJOE). ADI is a complex botanical injection typically containing extracts from *Panax ginseng*, *Astragalus membranaceus*, *Acanthopanax senticosus*, and cantharidin (derived from *Mylabris*). BJOE is an emulsion derived from the fatty oil of *Brucea javanica* seeds. This combination is primarily utilized for patients with advanced malignancies, such as colorectal, lung, and liver cancers, particularly those who cannot tolerate standard chemotherapy. It functions by inducing tumor cell apoptosis, inhibiting angiogenesis, and suppressing cell proliferation, while also mitigating chemotherapy-induced adverse effects like leukopenia and gastrointestinal toxicity.
