Al18F-NOTA-grazytracer and 68Ga-grazytracer are investigational PET imaging radiopharmaceuticals designed to target granzyme B, a serine protease released by activated cytotoxic T cells and natural killer cells. Developed by the Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, these tracers serve as non-invasive biomarkers for the tumor immune microenvironment. By binding to granzyme B, they allow for the visualization of cytotoxic T-cell activity within tumors, which can help predict treatment response and prognosis in patients with aggressive lymphoma and those undergoing immunotherapy. The two versions utilize different radioisotopes (Fluorine-18 via an AlF-NOTA complex and Gallium-68) to facilitate PET/CT imaging.
