Overview

This combination regimen is being investigated for the maintenance treatment of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) following first-line induction. It consists of the PD-L1 inhibitor aldebellizumab, the PARP inhibitor fluzoparil, and the standard chemotherapy agents carboplatin and etoposide. Aldebellizumab (SHR-1316) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and PD-1, enhancing the anti-tumor immune response. Fluzoparil (SHR3162) is a potent PARP1/2 inhibitor that induces synthetic lethality in cells with DNA repair deficiencies. The combination aims to leverage the synergistic effects of immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and PARP inhibition to improve clinical outcomes in ES-SCLC.
