Overview

A combination of two targeted therapies used primarily for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with specific genetic alterations. Alectinib is an ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets ALK rearrangements, while osimertinib is a third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets EGFR mutations, particularly those with T790M resistance mutations. This combination has shown effectiveness in treating patients with concurrent EGFR and ALK alterations, especially in cases of resistance to single-agent therapy and in managing brain metastases.
