Overview

ALLR3 is a multi-agent chemotherapy regimen established as a standard of care for pediatric patients with relapsed B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP ALL). The regimen was originally defined in the UKALLR3 clinical trial and typically includes an induction phase consisting of mitoxantrone, vincristine, dexamethasone, and asparaginase, supplemented by intrathecal methotrexate for central nervous system prophylaxis. It is frequently utilized as the control arm in contemporary clinical trials evaluating novel agents, such as inotuzumab ozogamicin, for high-risk or very high-risk relapsed ALL.
