Overview

Almonertinib + vinorelbine is a combination regimen of two small molecule chemotherapeutic agents used or investigated for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Almonertinib is an oral, third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor that selectively targets both EGFR-sensitizing and T790M resistance mutations, thereby inhibiting tumor cell proliferation driven by aberrant EGFR signaling. Vinorelbine is a semi-synthetic vinca alkaloid that acts as an anti-mitotic agent by binding to tubulin and disrupting microtubule assembly, leading to mitotic arrest and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. The combination aims to leverage targeted inhibition of oncogenic signaling with cytotoxic disruption of cell division for enhanced antitumor efficacy in NSCLC.
