Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qiaoruosu is a combination pharmaceutical product containing ambroxol hydrochloride and clenbuterol hydrochloride, developed and manufactured by Hubei Furen Pharmaceutical. It is formulated as an oral solution primarily indicated for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with bronchospasm and abnormal mucus secretion, such as chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and emphysema. Ambroxol hydrochloride acts as a mucolytic and secretolytic agent, reducing the viscosity of phlegm and promoting its clearance by stimulating surfactant production and ciliary activity. Clenbuterol hydrochloride is a potent beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that induces bronchodilation by relaxing airway smooth muscle. Together, these components alleviate coughing, facilitate expectoration, and improve airflow in patients with obstructive airway diseases.
