Overview

AMG 701 + pomalidomide is an investigational combination therapy for **relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma**. **AMG 701** is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody construct that targets **B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)** on multiple myeloma cells and **CD3** on T cells, redirecting T-cell cytotoxicity toward myeloma cells. **Pomalidomide** is an immunomodulatory drug (IMiD) that enhances immune cell function and has direct anti-myeloma activity. In combination, AMG 701 and pomalidomide synergistically potentiate T-cell activation, proliferation, memory formation, and cytotoxicity, leading to superior anti-myeloma activity compared to either agent alone. This combination is being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for enhanced efficacy in patients with advanced multiple myeloma.[1][2][4][6]
