AJU-C52H is a fixed-dose combination drug containing amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker), chlorthalidone (a thiazide-like diuretic), and valsartan (an angiotensin II receptor antagonist). It is being developed by Aju Pharm for the treatment of essential hypertension. The combination targets multiple mechanisms involved in blood pressure regulation to provide enhanced antihypertensive efficacy. Clinical trials have reached Phase 3 in South Korea for patients with essential hypertension who are inadequately controlled on other therapies[1][2][6].
