Amlodipine + delapril is a fixed-dose combination of two antihypertensive agents used to treat high blood pressure. Amlodipine is a long-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that lowers blood pressure by inhibiting voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel in vascular smooth muscle, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral resistance[1][2][3].
