Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Amlodipine + losartan + rosuvastatin** is an oral co-administration regimen consisting of the calcium-channel blocker amlodipine, the angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist losartan, and the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor rosuvastatin. Hanmi Pharmaceutical evaluated co-administration of its amlodipine/losartan product HCP0605 with its rosuvastatin product HGP0816 in a completed phase 1 pharmacokinetic and safety study in healthy male volunteers, alongside the corresponding fixed-dose combination candidate HCP1305. The regimen is intended to address coexisting hypertension and dyslipidemia by lowering blood pressure and reducing low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol.
