This combination refers to a pool of seven antimicrobial agents—amoxicillin, clarithromycin, metronidazole, tinidazole, levofloxacin, furazolidone, and tetracycline—evaluated by Shandong University for the treatment of *Helicobacter pylori* infection. In the context of a Phase 4 clinical trial, these antibiotics are used as part of an antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST)-guided salvage therapy. Patients receive a 14-day bismuth-based quadruple regimen consisting of a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), colloidal bismuth pectin, and two antibiotics selected from this pool based on their susceptibility profiles. The individual components work through various mechanisms, including inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis (amoxicillin), protein synthesis (clarithromycin, tetracycline), and DNA replication or integrity (metronidazole, tinidazole, levofloxacin, furazolidone), collectively aimed at eradicating resistant *H. pylori* strains.
