Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANKTIVA + tislelizumab is a combination immunotherapy being developed by ImmunityBio in collaboration with BeiGene for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The combination is specifically targeted at patients who have progressed on or developed resistance to prior checkpoint inhibitor therapies. ANKTIVA (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept-pmln) is an IL-15 superagonist complex that stimulates the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ effector T cells without inducing regulatory T cells. Tislelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, preventing the inhibition of T-cell activity. By combining immune stimulation via IL-15 with the removal of immune checkpoints via PD-1 blockade, the therapy aims to restore anti-tumor immunity. It is currently in Phase 3 clinical development (ResQ201A trial).
