Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anlotinib + nab-paclitaxel + temozolomide is an investigational, off-label combination regimen consisting of three distinct therapeutic agents: anlotinib, nab-paclitaxel, and temozolomide. Anlotinib is an oral small-molecule multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that primarily targets tumor angiogenesis by inhibiting VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-Kit. Nab-paclitaxel is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, a microtubule-disrupting chemotherapeutic agent. Temozolomide is an oral small-molecule alkylating agent that effectively crosses the blood-brain barrier. This triple combination has been reported in a 2026 Frontiers in Medicine case report as a salvage regimen for patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC) with brain metastases who experienced early recurrence after whole-brain radiotherapy, aiming to achieve both intracranial and systemic disease control.
