Overview

This investigational immunotherapy, developed by Kecellitics Biotech Company Ltd (originally developed by Beijing Win Win Technology Co., Ltd.), consists of autologous T-cells genetically modified to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) targeting the CD19 and CD22 antigens. The treatment protocol involves the sequential administration of anti-CD19 CAR-T cells followed by anti-CD22 CAR-T cells. By targeting two distinct B-cell surface antigens, the therapy is designed to reduce the risk of relapse due to antigen loss or "escape," which is a known limitation of single-target CAR-T therapies. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The process involves leukapheresis to collect patient T-cells, engineering them to express the CAR constructs, and reinfusing them following lymphodepleting chemotherapy.
