Overview

anti-CD19-4-1BB CAR-T cells (Xuzhou Medical University) is an investigational second-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, including B-cell leukemia and B-cell lymphoma. The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's T-cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the B-lymphocyte antigen CD19, which is widely expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. The CAR construct incorporates a CD19-binding domain linked to a 4-1BB (CD137) costimulatory domain and a CD3 zeta (CD3ζ) signaling domain. This design is intended to promote robust T-cell activation, expansion, and long-term persistence following infusion. In clinical research conducted by Xuzhou Medical University, this therapy is frequently evaluated in combination with other CAR-T products, such as anti-CD22 CAR-T cells, to mitigate the risk of tumor relapse caused by antigen escape.
