Anti-CD19 CAR T-cells (First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of refractory and relapsed B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T-cells to express a CAR targeting the CD19 antigen, a protein consistently expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. Once re-infused into the patient following a lymphodepleting preparative regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide, these engineered T-cells recognize and eliminate CD19-positive leukemic cells. This specific cell therapy is locally manufactured at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University for use in clinical trials evaluating its safety and efficacy in patients with active disease or persistent residual disease.
