Overview

Anti-CD19 CAR-T cells (Wuhan Sian Medical Technology) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target the CD19 antigen, a protein expressed on the surface of most B-cell lineage cells. Developed by Wuhan Sian Medical Technology Co., Ltd., this therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes CD19, enabling the immune system to specifically identify and eliminate malignant B cells. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphoma. A notable clinical focus for this specific product is its use in patients with minimal residual disease (MRD) positivity, often evaluated in the context of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) to improve long-term outcomes and reduce relapse rates.
