Overview

anti-FLT3 CAR-T (Soochow University) is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy consists of autologous or allogeneic T-cells genetically engineered to express a CAR that specifically targets Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3), a receptor tyrosine kinase frequently overexpressed or mutated in AML. Upon administration, these CAR-T cells recognize and bind to FLT3-positive leukemic cells, leading to T-cell activation, proliferation, and the targeted destruction of the malignant cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory FLT3-positive AML.
