Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-PD-L1 (human), also known as INVIVO mAb anti-PD-L1, is a DNA-encoded, in vivo-expressed monoclonal antibody being developed by SET Technology for the treatment of solid tumors. This therapeutic candidate utilizes a novel delivery platform where DNA sequences encoding a human anti-PD-L1 antibody are administered to the patient, prompting their own cells to produce and secrete the functional antibody. This approach is designed to provide sustained blockade of the Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) immune checkpoint, thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. By producing the antibody internally, the platform aims to improve therapeutic durability and reduce the manufacturing burden associated with traditional protein-based biologics. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
