antiplatelet + statin

A combination therapy of an antiplatelet agent and a statin is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with or at high risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Antiplatelet agents, such as aspirin or P2Y12 inhibitors (e.g., clopidogrel), work by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the formation of blood clots.
