Overview

This drug is an experimental combination therapy under investigation for cancer immunotherapy, specifically for previously treated unresectable or metastatic cutaneous melanoma and synovial sarcoma. It combines two components: **anzugene autoleucel (IMA203)**, an autologous T cell receptor (TCR)-engineered T cell therapy targeting the cancer-testis antigen PRAME, and **mRNA-4203**, an mRNA-based therapy encoding the same PRAME antigen designed to boost or support the efficacy of TCR-T cell therapy. The rationale of the combination is to enhance the anti-tumor T cell immune response by simultaneously administering PRAME-specific TCR-T cells and stimulating in vivo immune activation via mRNA vaccination. The drug is being developed in collaboration between Immatics and Moderna and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2][3][4][8].
