Apatinib + oxaliplatin is a combination therapy regimen comprising a targeted anti-angiogenic agent and a cytotoxic platinum-based chemotherapy. The rationale for this combination is to achieve synergistic anti-tumor activity by simultaneously targeting the tumor's blood supply and its genetic integrity, particularly in patients who have developed resistance to standard platinum-based therapies.
