Drug intelligence / Profile preview
APC (CD24-Ab-TG2-BP) is a preclinical, first-in-class antibody-peptide conjugate being investigated for **high-grade serous ovarian cancer**. It couples a CD24-neutralizing antibody with a selective peptide inhibitor designed to block the interaction between tissue transglutaminase 2 and fibronectin. By concurrently inhibiting CD24 signaling and disrupting tissue transglutaminase 2-mediated tumor-cell interactions with the tumor microenvironment, APC is intended to suppress ovarian cancer stem-cell maintenance, spheroid formation, platinum-resistance biology, metastatic implantation, and tumor growth. In ovarian cancer xenograft models, APC reduced tumor volume, tumor weight, and metastatic burden versus IgG control.
