Overview

A triple antiemetic combination therapy used to prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), particularly in patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC). This combination works through multiple pathways: palonosetron blocks 5-HT3 receptors, aprepitant blocks NK-1 receptors, and dexamethasone provides additional antiemetic effects. Clinical studies have shown excellent efficacy with complete response rates of up to 100% during the acute phase (0-24 hours) and 97% during the delayed phase (24-168 hours) of CINV.
