Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Arm & Hammer Advance White Brilliant Sparkle is a fluoride-containing anticavity toothpaste developed by Church & Dwight Company, Inc. It is specifically formulated with a high concentration of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate, approximately 20%) to enhance mechanical plaque removal and neutralize plaque acids. The product is indicated for the reduction of dental plaque and gingivitis, as well as for cavity protection and tartar control. Clinically, it has been shown to be more effective at removing plaque in hard-to-reach areas compared to standard non-baking soda toothpastes. The mechanism involves the gentle abrasive action of baking soda to polish enamel and the chemical neutralization of acids produced by oral biofilm.
