Overview

A combination therapy consisting of aromatase inhibitors (such as letrozole or anastrozole) and denosumab, a human monoclonal antibody. This combination is primarily used to prevent bone loss and reduce fracture risk in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer receiving adjuvant aromatase inhibitor therapy. Denosumab works by inhibiting RANKL (receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand), which decreases bone resorption and increases bone mass and strength.
