Overview
AryoTrust + docetaxel + doxorubicin + cyclophosphamide is a neoadjuvant chemotherapy regimen developed by AryoGen Pharmed Co. for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. The regimen consists of a sequential administration schedule: four 14-day cycles of doxorubicin (an anthracycline topoisomerase II inhibitor) and cyclophosphamide (a DNA alkylating agent), followed by four 21-day cycles of AryoTrust (a biosimilar trastuzumab) and docetaxel (a taxane microtubule stabilizer). AryoTrust is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the extracellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and survival. This combination is currently being evaluated in a Phase III clinical trial (NCT03425656) to compare its efficacy and safety against the reference regimen containing Herceptin in the neoadjuvant setting.
