This leads to decreased blood flow, increased vascular permeability, and increased apoptosis of vascular endothelium as well as local cytokine (TNF) production[5][6][7]. Docetaxel is a microtubule inhibitor that promotes apoptosis of rapidly dividing cells, and carboplatin causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis.
