Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASC30 + ASC39 (also known as ASC30_39FDC) is an investigational, once-daily oral fixed-dose combination tablet being developed by Ascletis Pharma for the treatment of obesity and chronic weight management. The combination consists of two small molecule active ingredients: ASC30, a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) agonist, and ASC39, a selective amylin receptor agonist (SARA). By targeting both the GLP-1 and amylin pathways, the combination aims to achieve synergistic appetite suppression and weight loss. Preclinical studies in non-human primates demonstrated a body weight reduction of approximately 6.9% after a seven-day treatment. Ascletis expects to submit an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. FDA for the combination in the third quarter of 2026, with plans to enter clinical development in the fourth quarter of 2026.
