Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASC36 + ASC35 (also known as ASC36_35FDC) is an investigational, once-monthly subcutaneous fixed-dose co-formulation developed by Ascletis Pharma for the treatment of obesity and chronic weight management. It combines two peptide agonists discovered using Ascletis' AI-assisted structure-based drug discovery (AISBDD) and Ultra-Long-Acting Platform (ULAP) technologies: ASC36, a next-generation amylin receptor agonist, and ASC35, a GLP-1R/GIPR dual agonist. Together, the combination acts on three targets: the amylin receptor, GLP-1R, and GIPR. The co-formulation utilizes a Self-Assembling Lipid Depot (SALD) formulation to enable extended dosing. In preclinical studies, ASC36 + ASC35 demonstrated superior weight loss compared to co-administered eloralintide and tirzepatide. It is currently in Phase I clinical development in the United States.
