Overview

ASC36 + ASC37 is a peptide combination therapy being developed by Ascletis Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic diseases. The combination consists of two distinct peptide agonists: ASC36, which targets the amylin receptor and is designed for once-monthly subcutaneous administration, and ASC37, a triple agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR), and glucagon receptor (GCGR). Both components were discovered using Ascletis' proprietary Artificial Intelligence-assisted Structure-Based Drug Discovery (AISBDD) and Ultra-Long-Acting Platform (ULAP) technologies. The combination strategy is intended to optimize weight loss and metabolic health by simultaneously activating multiple synergistic pathways to regulate appetite, glucose metabolism, and energy expenditure.
