Ashton & Parsons Teething Powders is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of teething pain in infants, including sore and tender gums, flushed cheeks, and dribbling, based solely on long-standing traditional use. Each sachet contains powder impregnated with 0.002 ml tincture of **Matricaria recutita L.** (chamomile) flower as the active ingredient, extracted using 70% v/v ethanol, and also includes **lactose** as an excipient. Administered orally by placing the powder on the infant's tongue, it is suitable for babies from 3 months of age (not recommended under 3 months), with dosing of half a sachet twice daily for 3-6 month olds or one sachet twice daily for over 6 months, repeatable up to 6 doses in 24 hours if needed; symptoms persisting beyond 7 days require medical consultation.
