Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ASP0739 + pembrolizumab** is a combination of an investigational cancer immunotherapy (ASP0739) and the checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab. ASP0739 is developed for advanced solid tumors known to express NY-ESO-1 antigen. ASP0739 is believed to be a monoclonal antibody or immune-modulating agent (precise modality not fully disclosed) targeting cancer/testis antigens such as CTAG1B (NY-ESO-1). Pembrolizumab is a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor that reactivates T-cells to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The primary indication for the combination is advanced, relapsed/refractory solid tumors expressing NY-ESO-1, such as synovial sarcoma and myxoid/round cell liposarcoma.
