Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASP1570 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy under evaluation for advanced solid tumors. ASP1570 is an oral small molecule designed to restore T-cell activity suppressed by tumors, reactivating the immune response against cancer. Pembrolizumab is a well-established anti–programmed death-1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor that blocks the PD-1 pathway, enhancing T-cell–mediated immune attack on cancer cells. The combination aims to leverage potentially complementary mechanisms to overcome tumor resistance to immune attack. The combination is being studied mainly in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors that are refractory to standard treatment[1][3][5].
