Drug intelligence / Profile preview
铝镁匹林片 (Aluminium Magnesium Aspirin Tablets) is a combination oral medication containing aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), aluminum glycinate, and magnesium carbonate. Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects by irreversibly inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1 and COX-2. This inhibition prevents the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are key mediators of pain, fever, and inflammation. To mitigate the common gastrointestinal side effects associated with aspirin, such as gastric irritation and ulceration, aluminum glycinate and magnesium carbonate are included as buffering agents. These components neutralize excess gastric acid and help maintain the integrity of the gastric mucosal barrier. This formulation is primarily used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever, particularly in patients sensitive to standard aspirin formulations.
