Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of two antiplatelet agents (aspirin and clopidogrel) and a selective COX-2 inhibitor (celecoxib). This combination is used in patients who require both antiplatelet therapy for cardiovascular conditions and anti-inflammatory treatment for conditions such as arthritis. Studies have shown that celecoxib does not interfere with the antiplatelet effects of aspirin and clopidogrel, making it a safer option compared to other NSAIDs when dual antiplatelet therapy is required.
