Overview

This is a combination of three non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs): aspirin, diclofenac, and ibuprofen. Each drug works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which reduces the production of prostaglandins that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. However, this specific combination is not recommended for clinical use as taking multiple NSAIDs simultaneously significantly increases the risk of adverse effects, particularly gastrointestinal bleeding, cardiovascular complications, and kidney damage. Research indicates that diclofenac may be preferred over ibuprofen when combined with aspirin for thromboprophylaxis, as ibuprofen can interfere with aspirin's antiplatelet effects.
